Children entering Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1st.
Children entering First Grade must be six years of age on or before September 1st. In addition, they must have completed a full year of Kindergarten.
Children entering Grade Six, Seven, and Eight are received on a probationary basis until the end of the first marking period. Then they may be formally accepted if conditions warrant acceptance.
Non-Catholic children admitted to Mother of Divine Grace Interparochial School are required to take classes in all academic areas including religion. These children are admitted as space permits. These children attend all liturgical celebrations.
Parents of new students for Grade 2 to 8 will meet with the principal at the time of registration for a pre-admission interview.
For students in Grades 2 to 8, registration is not complete until a transfer from the student’s former school is presented at the end of the academic year in June.
Required for Registration of New Students Grades K to 8:
The following must be documents and records must be presented at the time of registration:
Birth certificate
Baptismal record if baptized in a parish other than Mother of Divine Grace
Immunization records from the doctor
Child’s Social Security Card
A copy of the child’s most recent report card from the school in which the child is currently enrolled
Any other pertinent information that may relate to the child’s achievement in a school setting
Whenever there is a family situation involving either divorce or separation, a copy of the court order must be presented for the office file.
Registration for PreKindergarten Classes:
Studetns for PK3 must be 3 years of age on or before September 1, 2023.
Students for PK4 must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2023.
